Built into the remains of a Victorian fort guarding the north western
shore of the Isle of wight our tanks contain a fascinating selection
of the fish and invertebrates which are found in our local sea and
on the seashore. Most visitors are amazed that the
murky waters of
the Solent can contain so many fascinating creatures. As a bonus
our last room, contains some of the stunning inhabitants of tropical reefs.
The aquarium is a fascinating family visit and a popular destination for
school and other groups. We are open from Easter to the end of October.
